Refund Policy

This policy explains when you can get your money back for something bought from Hotspot Creations. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Digital goods, delivered instantly
Everything we sell is digital and delivered immediately, which affects your right to change your mind. Where the law gives you a cancellation period for online purchases, that right is generally lost once download or in-server delivery has begun and you've agreed to it starting. Nothing here removes rights you have by law if a product is faulty or not as described.

2. When we'll refund you
We will refund you if:
- The product is broken or not as describedand we can't fix it in a reasonable time.
- You never received it— an in-server perk that never arrived, or a download we can't deliver.
- You were charged twice, or charged in error.
- The purchase was unauthorised — someone used your payment method without permission.
Requests under this section should be made within 14 days of purchase.
3. When we usually can't
- You changed your mind after the product was delivered and works as described.
- You bought the wrong item but it was delivered correctly.
- The product doesn't suit your framework or setup, where the requirements were stated on the product page.
- Your server closed, rebranded, or you stopped playing.
- You breached the licence — for example by redistributing the product.
- The request comes long after purchase and after substantial use.
Custom workis quoted and built to your spec, so it's generally non-refundable once work has started. Deposits cover work already done. If we can't deliver what was agreed, we'll refund the undelivered portion.
4. Tebex purchases
In-server packages are sold through Tebex, so the payment sits with them. Contact us first — we can usually resolve it fastest — but some refunds have to be processed through Tebex, and Tebex's own policies apply to those transactions.
5. How to request a refund
Email [support@yourdomain.com] or use our contact form, choosing "Refund request". Please include:
- Your order ID (you'll find it in your account) or your Tebex receipt.
- The email address you bought with.
- What went wrong, with screenshots or console errors if it's a technical fault.
Give us a chance to fix a fault first — most problems are a config issue we can solve in minutes.
6. How long it takes
We aim to decide within 24–48 hours of getting everything we need. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; how quickly it lands is up to your bank or provider, typically [e.g. 5–10 BUSINESS DAYS].
7. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before raising a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us fees and are usually slower for you than just asking. We may suspend accounts with an open chargeback until it's resolved.
